Victorian Balcony slate

Made from Welsh slate

This huge balcony slab was manufactured for a Victorian property on the south cost of England. It's weight was 500 kg and 50mm thick! Our customer had to hire a crane to lift the piece to the second floor balcony.

Its always good to see how our slate looks once the project is complete. Our customer kindly sent this image, of his recent purchase of a Welsh Dark Blue Slate window sill. Fine rubbed and finished on three edges, this will look stunning for years to come.

Locally sourced Welsh slate from Cwt Y Bugail quarry this locally run pub has kept with tradition and history.

New Veranda and Beer Garden

We are very pleased to see a local hotel and restaurant doing so well! The grapes in Maentwrog has recently opened a new veranda and garden with play area.

Our Mont black coping slate has been part of this new development and we are very pleased with the results. We would like to thank the Grapes for there support and wish them all the best for the future.

This a recent project we have been working on closely with a customer. As you can see our Slate is perfect for worktops both for a traditional kitchen and and outside kitchen! The worktops will last for many years to come.

Double Sided Welsh Slate Sign

We were asked by a customer to manufacture a double-sided slate sign, not something we are asked to do very often. It not only looks high quality, the Welsh Slate Sign will last a life-time.

Shankin the Royal Welsh Fusiliers Mascot

In his memory 

Mr Woody Parkes was commissioned to create a life-like sculpture of the 'Legendary' Royal Welsh mascot goat Shenkin; Who sadly passed away recently. The Regimental Mascot of 3rd Battalion, The Royal Welsh  sculpture, will be on display at Llandudno, North Wales promenade.

At the bottom of the sculpture you will see our memorial quality plaque engraved in his memory.

We have been working hard getting orders out in time for Christmas!  Making sure everyone who has ordered a hearth in Welsh or Imported Slate, has it in plenty of time to get ready for Father Christmas. Don't forget to leave him a Mince Pie, some Sherry and a Carrot for Rudolph!!!!
